The end is near ![]() A rant by: nekochan I think I know why the weather is so nice. It's kinda like the Day After Tomorrow. But, you see, if it's really cold out, then we'll all end up hiding in our homes and never come out, then nature can't get us. But, if it's warm, then we'll be outside enjoying the nice weather, and then suddently WHAM! we get hit with a cold front and we're all instantly dead. Like in Moscow. Beware the nice weather... beware.... << Back Add a Comment Comments ( Add a Comment ) BigB says: 2006-02-03 12:04:31 And my dealer said all the good sh*t was sold out. Pass the crack pipe this way Akon, i want to see the pretty colours and acid hits don't do it for me anymore. Maybe peyote tea? nekochan says: 2006-02-04 17:44:11 Suddenly your comments all make sense. They're all drugged indused. You'd be wise to fear mother nature, BigB. She gots of power and she knows where you live. nekochan says: 2006-02-17 15:07:13 I'm curious to see how many survive this horrible cold front we've suddenly been hit with. Maybe it's just mother natures way of thinning out the homeless population. And people like BigB. BigB says: 2006-02-24 10:23:40 Hey, remember when Akon made a stupid rant and no one would comment on it so she had to comment on it to herself. Ya, that was awesome. Stick to peeling babe. Your rants are as useless as our education system. Rigel says: 2007-02-07 16:17:11 I have to laugh at the people who are complaining bitterly about this prolonged cold snap we've been having since Jan. 27. This is the 12th straight day of below-normal temperatures and we can expect at least four more. The trick to dealing with this type of cold is simple: dress for it. It's amazing how many people walk around half-frozen because they're underdressed. The irony is that Winnipegers like to tell everyone else how tough they are to live through our winters; but when the mercury really dives, they whine about it as much as Torontonians or Vancouverites. Canada's Inuit have survived for centuries in much harsher conditions than we experience here because they know how to dress for them. We should know here also, but aren't willing to take the extra time to put on the extra garments to cut the cold. Just as ironic is the fact that you can get all kinds of deals now on winter items at prices 60-80% off the list; yet I see people going around in outfits that might be OK at -3C but definitely not at -30. In July when temperatures are +30, they wouldn't hesitate to remove as much clothing as possible to get comfortable, but when the opposite occurs, they'd rather be stylish than comfortable. So let's not hear any more whining about the cold if you're not willing to take the appropriate steps to deal with it. |
