Backstreet Boys in Winnepeg?  A rant by: KSPOT I'm sure I'm the only one who's visited this site that went to the BSB concert... that is Backstreet Boys. I was so disappointed when spending $150 or whatever it was for my souvenirs... I say $150 slight sarcastically, just for those who are ready to pounce on me for spending that much on BSB memorabilia. ANYWAYS....I was sooo disappointed when I fliped over my "fake pass" anxiously reading up and down both columns of tour locations, only to stop on Winnepeg, MB. WINNEPEG??? WHAT THE HELL IS WINNEPEG??? I know Howie,Kevein,A.J.,Brian & Nick had nothing to do with the error, but you would think their Marketing people would do a couple of spell checks before creating millions and millions of t-shirts, books, and passes. So I just thought I'd rant about it. It's a great setup for my family, now i don't have to beat my wife and my kids think of me more as an uncle that sleeps over then a dad. But i still do pay property taxes and a credit card bill that gets used up in Winnipeg so i am still intitled to complain about how pathetic a city it is. But don't worry, i'll hook my trailer up to my truck and move my family to a new trailerpark soon enough. |

BSB had their moment. And it's passed. This is why they come to a dump like winnipeg and can still not fill a new arena!!! I could write a rant on how pathetic it is to spend money on crap that has BSB on it. But the truth is i once had a place in my heart for them. That was when they first came out and every 16yr old girl was listening to them. Pretending i liked them got me a lot of ass. But that time has come and gone. They are washed up coke addicts holding onto the tattered remains of a pathetic career. You ask what ended them?!?! Easily. It was when American Idol came along and people realized we could get talented people to entertain us.
