Stuck on Portage??!!!! ![]() A rant by: Anonymous So, Portage Ave is probably one of the most driven on streets in the city...yet there are still parts that have yet to be plowed. Interestingly enough, my friends residential side street in an affluent area was plowed Tuesday morning!!! It seems a MP or some other corrupt government official lives near him...Grrrrr.... << Back Add a Comment Comments ( Add a Comment ) Anonymous says: 2005-11-17 11:59:07 Then again I live in an affluent Neighbourhood in Tuxedo. We have a School on our Street and our street never gets plowed. BigB says: 2005-11-17 13:58:11 I hope thats the section of portage near wolsley. I live on a bay. Last year they didn't plow it until spring. The loaderman was spreading the sandy snow across all our yards when i went and yelled at him. For you common folks that are complaining about government officials that have their streets cleared wake up! Don't you think these guys need to get around a little more then you do? They are responsible for where the money is spent. Someone decides how much can be spent on each snow dump. Shouldn't that person be able to get to his office so he can make decisions? Like it's really more important for you to get to work so you can flip burgers?!?! Jennifer says: 2005-11-23 19:26:57 B, you sure are presumptuous, why don't you relax a little!! you don't know anything about us. BigB says: 2005-11-24 12:06:36 wtf are u talking about? the idea behind this site is for me to get riled up! but when people write stupid comments how can i not comment on how foolish it is. Anonymous says: 2005-12-16 22:03:50 Hey Big B is guess because of people like you is the reason we are off to another election. Continue your uselessness. |

I used to live on the same block as Gary Filmon.. its an off street in the heart of Charleswood, not a place you'd think was likely to be first in line for snow removal, but, the snow removal trucks came and cleared us out the second the snow had fallen. I must say it was a nice perk to living near the former PC premier.
