Wholy we are in trouble  A rant by: THETRUTH I think we are in major trouble this year with the p[ot hole situation. Most of the time I feel like I am on a old callttle trail, even on portage. You used to be able to drive a nice vehicle in Winnipeg for a brief few months- after Spring, they filled the potholes, and the roads were okay until Winter. Now, they don't even pretend; potholes go unattended for years, and our residential streets look like a war zone. I personally have killed two front suspension assemblies in as many years. It is possible to go nearsome potholes and see random bushings and assorted suspension bits strewn about. If MPIC had to start paying for suspension damage, I bet we would be driving on glassy smooth roads, rather than the butcher jobs that pass as repairs these days. Just look at the West perimeter highway: an entire year to resurface dozens of kilometers of highway, except it's rougher now than it was before!
