People who dont want to take responsibility  A rant by: Anonymous Why are there so many losers in this city who believe that everything that happens to them is NOT THEIR fault? It's driving me crazy. A guy gets a speeding ticket, he comlains that it's the cities fault, not HIS even though he was the one who broke the law!!! Someone waits 7 years to file their income taxes and then complains that the government hasn't sent them a refund fast enough. Someone's purse gets stolen out of their car, DON'T LEAVE YOUR PURSE IN YOUR CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! Wasn't there some story a few years back about some loser chick getting bitten by a dog while hopping the fence into somebody's back yard? Did that dog (who was just trying to protect his property) get put down? I'm so sick of stories like this. I'm about to explode. If I hear another person blaming the city or the system or someone ELSE for their own stupidity. This society is getting worse every year. The limits are set artifically low so as to catch people speeding. Traffic laws are not about safety, they are about making money. I don't disagree w/ tickets I just think there should be a different system. Example is I speed alot and get lots of tickets, but i never get into accidents. Oart if the graduated licensing should be based on skill level (see drinking and driving should be legal). So a driver like me could be doing 125% the limit posted and a female asian woman would get a ticket for going 95% of the limit. You haven't killed or maimed anyone or yourself YET, and if you do, there is no turning back. If you try to imagine what that might feel like for 10 minutes, maybe you will slow down to the speed limit (which is posted for a good reason) for the benefit of yourself and everyone else.
