Pan Handlers in Dining Room?!?  A rant by: BalthazaarRamrod The other day I went for dinner with a buddy of mine to PALATAL Mongolian restraunt (I think it's mongolian, but whatevs.) We ordered our food and were sitting down eating when this guy decided he would come in and ask us for change AT OUR TABLE! My buddy was quick with the toung lashing and told him "Piss-off, I'm EATING!" before I even turned to look at him. I couldn't beleive what had happened. When did it become acceptable to come INTO a restraunt and harass people eating there? I am usually pretty decent to pan handlers. Sometimes if I have some extra change I'll dig into my pockets and help the guy get his drink on. I just finished reading the post and all the comments and it's a more complex situation then most would think. As a store owner you don't want to seem mean and treat the scum like crap in front of customers. One of the customers will have compassion on this parasite and you instantly become the bad guy. Yet if you are kind to them, watch out. They will be back again that night, the next day and probably with their undesirable friends. All this being said, Ramrods idea is clearly the best (GTFO A-HOLE). But we already knew I'm a prick. It just sucks you are with the kids or on a date or something of this sort where you want to pretend you are level-headed and easy going. I find that's when i snap the most, then i have to spend an hour cleaning aids off my shoes and decaying skin particles from my strangling belt. Not pleasing. Personally, I cheer everytime a downtown security guards throws one of these pieces of trash out on their butts. They wanna be street rats, then we should have the right to treat them like rats. |

That's happened to me before but on the patio at Carlos and Murphy's. Some guy just walked up to everyone on the patio and asked for money.
