Restaurants serving crappy food  A rant by: 30something ok Boston Pizza has amazing pizza but why do they even bother to put other food on thier menu if it sucks? I went to the restaurant on Portage in the birchwood plaza and had a greek salad WITH NO DRESSING! when I asked for dressing, they brought me OLIVE OIL! One of the other people in my party also ordered something besides pizza and it was crappy too. To affirm the last comment, just do a simple search on Google for greek salad recipes and you will see that the standard "dressing" is olive oil, with some of the recipes adding in a bit of vinegar. OK genius, I don't work in the resturant business, but my experience in eating to maintain my existence is that the most well known dressing for a Greek salad is olive oil. The furthest anyone will go for a Greek salad dressing is to add small amount of oregeno, black pepper, and a splash of vinegar into the mix (all of which you had access to either in front of you or by request). I'm not saying that BP has good food, just don't act like it's ridiculous for them to bring out olive oil, when it is well known and excepted dressing for the salad you ordered.
