92 Kick FM

I just want to say thank God for Red River College's radio station 92.9 FM. No "classic rock" (which by Winnipeg radio definition is AC/DC), no Nickelback, and no 34th "Greatest Canadian" plug every 20 minutes. Oh it's a beautiful thing. Way to go RRC, keep it up.

Do they still play alot of blues once in a while? I remember listening to it once and they had an hour of good blues music.

Every day from noon to 1:00 and I think in the evening around 6 or 7 o'clock.

Oh man... a station in winnipeg that plays blues! Maybe there is some hope for our airwaves.... I might have to get myself a stereo for my office now.

They dont have a radio in your garbage truck jammin? I hadn't realize RRC offered something good other then the girls from biz admin and nursing. Maybe we need a full time blues station. Seems we all have an appreciation for it. That and i'd like to see a funk (rather then kennyG type 'jazz') station or atleast alotted time...

Well I am glad we all agree on something. Leave the light stuff for the jazz station and give us a station with some heavier blues. Anyway BigB... I guess you're still upset about your apartment. I'm sorry, but I was on my rounds and I had to dump that particular bin. Next time though I'll make sure you're not still in it... after all.. I try to be a nice guy. :)

I was trying to figure out wtf Jammin was trying to say to me there...For those of you who aren't avid users of this site, Jammin is a garbage truck driver (good for u bud. Someone has to do it). I do actually respect that. No one wants to be a janitor or garbage man when they are kids, but we still need people like you to make the world go around. And besides the tractor pulls, mullet hair cuts and zeba pants that you purchase all help our economy:) Glad to see you can have a bit of fun and not take everything personal.
