I'm just curious as to what happened to all those people that were being charged for unpaid parking tickets form years ago their was an article in the sun covering it and then nothing!!
does anyone know what became of that story as I have just been notified of unpaid parking fines dated 10 plus years and when I phoned the parking authority to ask them for copie's of the tickets they told me they could just go up to a certain year because when they took over from the winnipeg police department the records were destroyed yet their telling me I owe them for one from 1997 how can they jstify that its like extortion i have no proof that I paid the f@@n tickets 10 years ago so what they can just extort money from me now!! f@@ck they even put a lien on my truck!! I need to know were to go from here I have no receipts as I dont keep them forever wish I would have though!!!
