Non-Priority People Jumping the H1N1 Vaccine Line ![]() A rant by: jaymancan It really disturbs me to see healthy adults getting H1N1 vaccines before other people who fall into the priority list. Now we are running short. I know several people, personally, that went last week and got the vaccine before young children and unhealthy adults who really need it. These people should be ashamed of themselves. And why is WHRA allowing these people to get the vaccine in the first place? If you are not on the priority list then tough luck you don't get it until it is your turn. I think the public should be in an uproar over this. WHRA was given the responsibility to hand out these vaccines in the most appropriate fashion and they have failed to do that. Now are my children going to have to wait weeks to get vaccinated because these clinics allowed non-priority people to basically butt in line and take valuable vaccine that should be handed out to those most in need. Is this how we are going to handle these types of situations from now on? If so then let's just have a free for all. Let's see how that turns out. These selfish, cowards who basically shoved children out of the way to get themselves vaccinated are in my opinion the lowest of the low. And those in charge at WHRA should have to answer for their mishandling of this situation. It's just disgusting all around. << Back Add a Comment Comments ( Add a Comment ) 30something says: 2010-05-29 01:31:23 why are "your children" more important than MY children??? My children are 19 and 23 but they are just as important to me as your children. They just don't happen to be on the priority list, however if there was a way to get them vaccinated ahead of time, I would have done it. Just as you would have done if they were your children. |

H1N1 shots are now available to everyone. Get them while they're hot. :)
